Meat The Fish is a project in the heart of London close to Sloane Square recently completed in April 2023. We provided audio, lighting, and network solutions for this project with a desire to hide everything was the vision.

With a completely covered veneered frame across the ceiling the speakers needed to be strategically placed to keep them above the frame line while still providing premium coverage and background audio. Being able to use the system when dining and not be the primary focus but with the capacity to be intense when in use with the integrated DJ booth for specific nights.

We used Sonance range of speakers for the audio scheme utilising the pendant range of speakers and woofers while in the bathrooms and lobby the plaster in range from Sonance was adopted. For amplification we went with Powersoft Mezzo 100V/70V line of amplifiers which were perfectly suited to the scope and setting. They are compact and due to space restrictions for the head end racks fitted perfectly into the scheme. Sonos ports selected as the audio source of choice with the added option of the DJ booth being able to integrate into the main audio system which provided flexibility.

A robust network with layer 3 managed Cisco switches and Ruckus wireless access points were deployed and systems handed over to the clients in house IT team.

Finally, a Lutron Homeworks QS system was selected to control the lighting system. The main protocol was DALI controlled lighting with several mains dimmed decorative fixtures within the lighting design. Using the See Touch International range of keypads with a custom finish by Focus SB to match the other accessories for that finishing touch.
