This project was part of a wider development with a selection of luxury homes being built. For this project we fitted out the pre-wired cinema room and took over the AV and IT systems pre-sale of the property.

Our first task was to identify all the existing infrastructure and design a cinema within the developer’s budget. Taking into consideration room sizes and cable positions we were presented with.

For the audio we selected Paradigm Millenia LPXL for the front LCR channels and Millenia LP 2 for the rear surround channels. The piano black gloss finish for the on-wall surrounds fitted in beautifully with the décor. For projection we selected a Sim 2 Domino 4 with an Anthem MRX 540 providing the amplification. A simple Control SR260 remote with docking station to was added to control the media in the room. We included an Apple TV as part of the package to allow the client to demo the room for potential buyers.

Following the completion, we programmed the lighting based on client feedback and ensured all functionality of the Control 4 automation system was correct, HVAC zones functioning correctly, and system details logged in preparation for a final handover and aftercare. This was a very enjoyable cinema installation and tidy of previously installed systems which was turned around in 4 weeks from initial consultation to handover.
